Walter W. Line, 68, of Rt. 1, owner and operator of W.W. Line Paint and Body Shop on Traction Road, died in Culver Hospital Tuesday. He had been in failing health for a year. Mr. Line was a member of the Mariners Boat Club and was an avid sportsman and fisherman. He was born Nov. 4, 1904, at Crawfordsville, a son of John B. and Rose Lee Wert Line. He was educated here and at the California Military Academy before marrying Charlotte Peters on Oct. 25, 1924. Surviving besides the widow are a son, John W. of Crawfordsville; three grandsons, Larry, Leslie and Jeffrey, and a granddaughter, Michelle. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Burkhart Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Darlington. Friends may call at the funeral home. – jlr
